Supply Chain & Operations Experience Built in the Real World.
Practical expertise, measurable results, and direct senior-level partnership—without the layers of a traditional consulting firm.
About ChainVelocity SCO
ChainVelocity SCO was founded, is owned, and is led directly by Michael Lipari, a supply chain and operations executive with more than 30 years of hands-on experience across technology, retail, food & beverage, home goods, and other consumer industries.
The firm was built around a simple idea: businesses should be able to access experienced operational leadership without the cost, layers, and complexity of a large consulting organization. ChainVelocity helps organizations improve inventory, planning, procurement, logistics, processes, and overall operating performance through practical solutions designed for real-world execution.
Every engagement is tailored to the business. We use data to understand the problem, experience to identify what matters, and disciplined execution to turn recommendations into measurable improvement.
Meet Mike
Michael Lipari has spent more than three decades solving supply chain and operational problems from both sides of the table—inside global companies, growing businesses, and fast-moving organizations where the answers weren’t always obvious.
His experience spans inventory and demand planning, SIOP, procurement, logistics, warehouse operations, capacity planning, systems and tools, and operational turnarounds. Along the way, Mike has led teams and major initiatives at companies including Amazon, Acer, Walmart eCommerce, Lifestyle Solutions, and Cheetah Technologies.
The common thread has been turning complex problems into practical systems that people can actually use. That has included reducing inventory costs by 42% while maintaining service above 95%, helping operations move from 122% to 88% of budget, improving order fill rates to 99.7%, launching distribution centers under aggressive timelines, and supporting more than $2.5 billion in annual sales.
ChainVelocity brings that experience directly to clients. Mike remains involved from understanding the problem through developing and implementing the solution—so the person you meet is the person doing the work.

We believe in continuous improvement, transparency, and execution-focused consulting that turns challenges into opportunities. Our goal is to empower businesses with the tools, strategies, and expertise they need to operate smarter, faster, and more profitably.
